Andy, where's the pictures?

I forgot. I’ll try to do it later.

Here you go. Of course, this doesn’t include my Rats, which I could also throw. The top one is the first thrower I got when I was 13 or so. As you can see, it’s seen plenty of use. I haven’t used these in a while, and saw they were rusty. Not that it matters, they’re crap anyway. The second one down I got to supplement the 1st one. The 3rd down is a CS Torpedo. It’s really heavy, it weighs 1-2 lbs. I’ve thought of repainting it fluorescent orange or something so it’d be easier to find in brush. The bottom one is a roughly made throwing bowie that I bought at a Rendezvous for $20. The handles are leather.

I visited the CS website. Have you seen the new thowers? Some of them look big enough that I might actually be able to use them. I'm tired of breaking or damaging my knives by flinging them at trees.

A wise man once said 'Throwing knives? Why do you give your enemy a weapon?' But he was a cheeky b**ger who was commenting on my glaring lack of skill! (He was also ex-military SF, a martial arts expert (5 or 6 high black belts) and a nice bloke on the whole when he wasn't taking the p**s!)

It is just fun, Paul. Kathwannnnng! I just love watching my machete vibrate in a oak tree while my neighbors peer from behind the palmettos! It just feels good, like cracking the throttle on a hopped-up Harley. One of life's simple pleasures. A few beers enhances this euphoria.

No, I hadn't seen that one. It looks pretty good sized.

Now THAT'S a knife! Although I could not see myself throwing a knife like a Battle Mistress, it looks like you have really enjoyed it! Tom

Neither could I. I would probably lose a hand...... It mmight be worth it though. I hear the FBM can cauterize flesh after it is cut .

I have got to get me a couple of good throwing knives. It is the only thing that I don't have.

If Dan make an african throwing knife, I'd buy that! (They are like a cross between a machete and a shuriken star!) You don't so much throw it to stick it in your target as hack a chunk off it!
