The Yard "IS" a great place with a LOT of great people! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Tis why I hang out here most. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Someone will have your six, I'm sure. Don't stress KG.

Thanks. We'll see what happens.
I am not too terribly distressed. I "Shouldn't" be spending the money right now, but I don't know how else I could have gotten in on a $5.00 hat. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> (???).

I actually already have quite a few toys to hold me and I didn't really need to spend more money - money is very tight right now. I already have:

Yard-Keeper LE,
Howler 2nd Gen (Stripped),
HRLM,
SS4,
Bog Dog
That are all similar in size.

And I also have:
Rat Warden
DM stripped
RMD
and many others that are close.

So, I am not hurtin' for knives in this size range.

But, I kind of felt like this should be in my Scrap Yard drawer and I really felt like a Yard Keeper LE would get a lot of use.
I honestly feel the choil on the 2nd Gen Howler is to large. Too long - not too deep. I actually like the Yard Keeper more than the Howler. Although, the HRLM is VERY nice. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was actually planning on buying 2 and I was thinking about trying to re-create a satin non-mudder version of this Spear-Point concept that I photo-chopped.:

[Linked Image from i80.photobucket.com]

I think the mudder handles are sexier and feel great in my hand, but the little Res-C is more compact and very functional. I can reshape the Res-C to fit my hand a little better and it feels very good.

We'll see what happens... ???

.
it would be silly to buy for a hat but in my case my wife was buying me one for our anniversary. if she is spending 20 then for just 65 more the knife is a bargain.

Ahh!! I can't believe I missed it!!! I didn't get out of work until now!! I couldn't access page from work because the "weapons" is filtered out!! When the hell did knives become classified as "weapons". I am one sad dog...

That was sort of how I was justifying the whole package as well - initially..... I REALLY shouldn't be spending the money right now. But, a Yard Keeper AND a hat for about $85.00 + shipping was getting too hard to resist. Then, the more I thought about it, the more I just started getting Scrap Yard fever again... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> - I Needed a "nother" Yard Keeper. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

The speed of that sellout really surprised me. Congratulations Dan & Patti!

I'll have to be happy with my YKLE and SS4 in that size.

I logged on right a 6pm and was able to snag a YK at 6:23! This is my first Scrap Yard and am still amazed at how quickly these knives go. I guess I was one of the Lucky ones though. I cant wait till it gets here! Wish me luck!

First ScrapYard for me as well. I don't think it's going to be my last, either.
