It would be worth it just to have a knife called the "Howling Dog".

Doesn't INFI start its life as SR101 anyway?

Nope. INFI is it's own special steel!

SR101 is modified 52100 ball bearing steel I believe.

I just want Dan to keep the knives coming, and at Scrap Yard prices!

In the Busse tier of knives, Dan STILL offers the best price to performance ratio!!! I certainly wouln't mind another release like the SS4 in Infi, or any other quality steel. We will just have to trust Dan's creativity - and dumpster diving!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing some Scrap Yard Knives in SR-101. Although I actually like small knives in SR-101/INFI and micarta and large knives in SR-77 and Res-C.

I'm up for whatever, SR101, A2, D2, or even more Infi.

Although, I'm content with SR77 too, but I kinda figure at some point something else will get thrown into the mix.

I personally have never let a little rust bother me too much. Usually if I keep my knives clean and dry I rarely have to worry about rust, and I've got a lot of 1095. And if it does rust, I clean it, add protectant, and that's it until the next time.
