My wife and I went to see it and I have to say that with the story aside it was pretty good. The action and explosion/gunfire sounds were amazing and the killing was nothing short of pure art. We went right after I picked her up from work, so there were only 12 people in the whole theater. It was the only time in my life I was cheering out loud when people were getting dusted.

The could have shown the knife a bit more though.

Cool. I may be able to escape with the wife if we can ditch the rats for a with my parents. I would like to see it in the theater even though there will inevitably be someone kicking my seat and talking back to the movie screen directly behind me. I attract those people inside theaters I guess.

I read the interview Stallone did with Soldier of Fortune magazine and decided the movie sounded interesting. He said that the first couple of minutes included actual footage of the carnage going on over there currently. Of course, I enjoy the action of all the Rambo movies, ridiculous as they may be. He does a pretty good job considering the fact that he was 4F and kept out of the service! Of course, John Wayne and Frank Sinatra never served either yet made some decent films. I will go see the Rambo movie - it's good to get payback even if it is only a film!
