PoP, CONGRATULATIONS on your fine sheath and knife!!!!! You defiantely look like a man about to tame the wild in those last pics!!!!!

I too received my masterpiece from Jeff yesterday, a dundee rig. I took the photos, but will have to wait and post them when I get to my parents computer. I have a primitive laptop!

Jeff is a leather genius!!! He makes things that you are afraid to destroy because they are too nice, but in the end they were made to be used!

Good work Jeff!!! Bramel, you are a true friend!!!

I already have my next order in with Jeff!

Congrats again PoP!!!!! You deserve it you Dawg!!!!!

Dave, It was a real pleasure making that sheath for you, and for that special Dog Father LE that we all wanted to have and enjoy.

Since joining this forum right at a year ago you guys have really become an extended family to me, and family tries to take care of it's own right! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Alright maybe I got a little extra creative with it, that was the fun part, besides, I didn't want to put that awesome DFLE in just any ole pants!<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

It really was a team/family effort too, with Bramel playing a part in it's financing, which inspired me to do more, and be more creative, and I really have to say that in a way Ksjumpmd also played a part too, because without his help and generosity I might not have had the DFLE myself to make the sheath to.

You really do look prepared in those pics! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Enjoy that sheath my friend, and carry that Dog Father LE proudly!

Enjoy indeed,

As I told you in my P.M. it turns out that the sheath of course fit my DFCG,
but also fits 3 other blades I own inside of it as well!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

It snaps onto my belt loop with ease on the bottom and stays snug in place.

If I wanted I could even wear it without snapping it and use it bandelaro style.

I am going to get my first ticket here in Wisconsin by wearing a blade longer than three inches in public.
They are VERY liberal in my small town of 6,700
but the way I'm going to strut around will have the Police no option. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

They will have to listen to the public outcry and...
"Do something about that maniac running around with a MACHETE strapped to his chest!" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Laugh out loud!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

I will relish that day,and only then wise up and wear it with more discretion. Till then the world will see!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

This sheath is even more beautiful in the light of day! This morning is my first time not seeing it under lights to look at it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

Insane detail Jeff. INSANE DETAIL! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

I tried to capture that in the photos, but alas they are only pictures..... I hold the real thing!

Thank you again my dear friends, this is a heirloom for generations to keep and understand the craftsmanship of Jeff and the Master Blade-smith of Dan Busse.

May The Yard out live us all!! And for generations of our children it be kept alive and just the way it is. Hey PoP,

Love the new Avatar....Just don't go out in public looking like that, or we'll all be pooling together for bail money. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

RE:The avatar.

Bad idea to wear all in public I know, but today I wear the red kydex Brick
and the DFLE snapped onto my belt loop and eagerly handle up around shirt logo high.
Today we have a ton of work to do, but Lord knows I will look wonderful doing it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

And God... if you could give me a cutting challenge today at work
I'd be very grateful to you! See I also need to feel I did it for a good cause.
Not just vanity. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

Like the song says..."Lord it's hard to be humble when the sheaths perfect in every way!" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
And it sure stands up to a scrutinizing eye in the daylight. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

This is without flaw. Period. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Jeff, if only we could really express how much you mean to The Yard.

You are more than a friend and sheath maker. More than a poster and Brother.
You create and design our very hearts in leather and with the love you put into each Yard sheath you deliver it becomes clear.... you da man. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

Peace.
