I was unfortunate to have missed out on a recent knife purchase from the yard as they sold way faster than I had expected. I was also intending to pick up one of the great deals Dan offered on the hats with this purchase. Since I missed the knife, I missed the hat.

I received multiple offers from some of the GREAT dogs in the Yard to help cover my missed opportunity.

Unfortunately, for me, I have been going through some tight times with finances and while I was able to find a way to justify the purchase when they were released, finances have changed a little and I had to pass for now. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />
Oh well, I already have a LOT of great Scraps, Rats and even a couple high dollar Busse's <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

..... Unfortunately.... having to sell my "extra" Chopweiler though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> .... and recently had to sell my "extra" DFLE <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> to help pay some bills <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

For my part, I would probably hope there aren't any new releases for a few weeks - till I can get some finances back in line. .... But, that wouldn't be a fair or nice wish for my fellow dogs. So, I won't wish that.

I was also blessed by a great dog who shipped me a hat <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> - But, he won't provide me with info to send fair compensation. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

I guess I will have to keep a look-out to help cover these great guys if and when I can in the futuer. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I think these great gestures really show the quality of the people here in the Yard and how many here are willing to help take care of our own. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

I don't want to name names - Actually, I do, but.... I don't want to create expectations that might not always be available from certain people at different situations down the road.

You guys know who you are and I thank you for your very kind gestures and responses! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />

My new hat (from someone who is WAY better at photos than I <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />):

.

I know what your sayin about about releases coming out when money is tight !
I don't have many RAT's, Dogs or any Busse's so maybe my tight times are even a little tighter than yours.lol !!!
I was even so desperate when the YKCG came out that I was gonna see if someone would swap for my only custom, my Koster nessie for one !!!
Glad I came to my sense as I didn't really need another blade in that size range !!!
Sayin that I do have a gap for a Ratweiler size blade <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

the yard maybe run by great people but [censored] - im tired of waiting on another release of Dogs!! i just want a big YARD DOG and im tired of waiting~! im about to buy another swamp rat chopweiler... they always have a few knives on hand - huge plus of the Swamp over the Yard IMO... and dont dare say rats are less sought after, or we will be fighting.

Ha, SR runs out of knives just as much as Scrapyard. They just happen to have a few knives that are not selling well. I've gone months without seeing a SR to buy.
