I like the birds, but I don't know if I'd go with them.
Chris - I'm also starting to appreciate a nice flamed top. You'll notice that NONE of my guitars show any wood grain.
my tastes are maturing now, though!

I had noticed that, I just figured it as a personal taste thing. It is/was - I really like While Les Pauls. I'm really starting to appreciate some of the more vintage stuff though - and would like to get something w/ a flamey top. I like white because it does age over time, and starts turning yellow.

They make a white SG w/ EMG's as well - (Epi) I saw it on the front page at musiciansfriend today.
