Holdsworth in the 2nd video of his you posted is pretty experimental! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Cool, but not what I'd usually listen to. The 70's video was killer. 80's was back to that experimental stuff! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
That was one funky bass guitar in Blue N Green! Cusson has a lot of soul there. Great chops too!
Anyone drumming for Vai has to be the man... and Donati sure is amazing! I was a drummer growing up - 5th grade through graduating from high school - where I made a rather permanent switch to guitar. I still jump on our drummers set every once in a while and fool around.

I'm still in a total Sean Costello rut - I listen to a lot of his live stuff, and have picked up all of his albums (a couple were hard to find!). My 3 year old loves his stuff as well, which helps.
