Keep an eye here Will.

Patti dropped a hint recently that there is something on the way!

But only High Party Officials like you and Tom know what it is! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Off to the reprogramming camp with you! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I'm starting to recover from my last spending spree as well. I'd like to build up my depleted savings, so the upcoming Cupidganzaaaaaaa had me a bit worried. However, Jerry's been posting pictures and I may be safe -- they look like it might be an all Custom event. Don't get me wrong, some of them are outstanding, but I expect they'll be priced high enough to keep me away. I like those burl wood, mosaic pin handles, but not enough to double the price of a knife.

I have trouble convincing myself that even CG-priced Busse Combat blades might be "usin' knives" and not just "lookin' knives", to be carefully rolled back in the butcher paper they shipped in before putting them away. That's why it doesn't make sense for me not to stay in the Yard -- I have several fat mistresses, but the only time one left the house was to have a sheath made at last year's Spring Indy1500 show. I'll come a lot closer to using a Dogfather, even an LE, than one from the harem.

I was just over at BF and saw that Jerry is offering a special deal, but only to Hogs, on the least expensive Cultellus. I was a bit tempted by that one before I saw that post, but I'm not going to pay $20 more than the next guy for a knife just because I wasn't "judged worthy" to join their club.

Oh well, that's just another thing that's better about the Yard -- the customer appreciation special for the last release was available to anyone who ordered, not just JYDs -- while over at BC, all animals may be equal, but some are definitely more equal than others.

I made the mistake of looking at the Cupidganzaaa again; page 8 lists a sweet Special Overrun Mistress for $427.00 -- if I keep telling myself that I don't need another one, will I ever believe it?
