I have a satin INFI SS4. INFI is just as stain resistant as stainless but for a different reason. Mine also has a wicked zero edge. It was a fave for a ong time but has not got a lot of use since I got the Swarden and Mule.

That wet enviro looks fantastic Vic! I love the shiny black handle and the swedge really gives it some attitude. 440C is one of those great steels that gets neglected.

Well, of course we would all love INFI at SYKCo prices! If the heat treat is right, 440C is a great stainless knife steel, as is the 12C27 that Bark River uses. I have three or four knives in the 12C27 and it is as good or better than 440C as far as I can tell.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I love 12c27, it takes a great edge and unlike many stainless steels it pretty tough and chip resistant.
thats good for me, because I have chipped my kershaw scallion (in a few places) and it's some type of 440.

Vic as always you showand tell us what what we all ready know but love to hear, that there are some great quality knives out there but Scraspyard knives still beat them.

I have a mora in that Sandvick that is pretty good. 440C is prettier when it is all pimped out and polished. The new budget kershaw "needs work" is that Sandvick steel. It looks like a nifty knife if you like straight blades(I do).
