Sooo... Central time makes it 8:00 to 11:30 Eastern, 6:00 to 9:30 Mountain, and 5:00 to 8:30 Pacific. The game's a bit different than normal. 3.5 hours is a pretty large window, perhaps it'll narrow a bit with the 24-hour notice.
I re-read Dan's post and that's exactly what he said -- it helps to read through the last line.

the main competition will mostly be from new dawgs, my guess is if you try, you'll have a really good chance, depending on how many their are <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> (don't quote me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> )

So far pretty much everyone who has been on the forum F5ing when the bell went down got a knife. The only people who missed out on the YKCG were those who missed the start or could not be there because of prior commitments. At least to the best of my knowledge? It is still riving me nuts not knowing which grind it is? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Maybe I will have to wait until I see the photo on the knife page in 48hours? Is anyone else basing their decision on which grind it is? Or would you buy it either way flat or sabre?

If I had to decide right now, I'd try for at least two either way. It would help if I knew whether or not I'll have a 'ganza bill, but I may not know by Friday night.

I already have a few DFLEs, but I would be very interested in a CG version. The great thing about the LE is the flat grind.
Please let me know if this will be a saber grind or a flat grind.
My kids (3, 7, and due in August) need a knife they can be proud of some day.
Their collections continue to grow with each great knife I find.
