4) Yes, the store does accept credit cards independently of PayPal.
Once again, registering as ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY not necessary to buy anything you want from the Scrap Yard Store. If you don't want to register, you don't have to register. I've purchased 5 knives through the store so far and I haven't registered yet. I'd register anyway. tons of people have done it, I'm pretty sure they use epoxy stripper (sometimes) and a belt sander.
they look great, although the ungrinded areas of the knife (as well as all scrapyards) are kind of rough and require some sanding. (if you want to get rid of them that is, some people don't mind them)

Has anyone here ever stripped a Dog Father to make it look like the LE? How did you do it and how did it turn out? You can strip it with paint stripper, but it won't look anything like a limited edition. The steel under the coating is left rough and unfinished. It you want an LE the best way to get one is to buy one. I don't recommend it, but I used 80 grit on the really rough parts and then down to 220 grit. I did it on a belt sander. Then I used scotchbrite fine buffing pads on a small grinder. Of course, you can do it all by hand.
