short notice. i need a proxy too. one of my priests passed away and i'll probably spend the evening at church with the mourners. we have one of the largest orthodox congregations in the country.

pastors or priests can be some of the closest most helpful people you will meet
(depending on how often you seek they're help and know them) so it has to be hard for you.
I would be pretty upset if my pastor passed away, he's almost like family.

i'm all right, we have three priests and he's the one i was least familiar with. I was familiar enough to know he had some fine qualities.
