...An ATS34 Shaker or S4 though, that's a fine thing! Pardon my ignorance, but what does a Shaker look like? D2 or even *cough* 440C on smaller, slicing only knives is alright by me .... my only ATS-34 knife is a Ti Spyderco Lum Folding Tanto.....but its mostly a show queen...and I haven't actually used /sharpened with an ATS-34 blade before.....

A 3/16" thick neck knife would be pretty cool. The Becker Necker isn't bad, but I'm sure Dan could produce a better product!

The more I think about it, the more I want a big ole chopper in ATS-34. A maker as smart as Dan could figure out how to temper it just right. Just think, a big chopper that resists rust. It should be about the size of the Ontario RTAK, with a grind like the DF. If it was 1/4" thick, that would be cool, but 3/16" would work. It needs a wierd abbreviation for the name like SYHD. That could stand for Scrap Yard Heavy Duty, or maybe Scrap Yard Horn Dog ! Nobody would even challenge a blade called the Scrap Yard Horn Dog, would they?
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Andy, thanks mate, you can always be counted on to find a good pic! (Can we have a look at the new anniversary SH please??)
PK, the only person that can match Dan's quality is some geezer called Jerry who seems to like scotch..
Horndog- I could find house room for a ATS34 DFLE or S7!! But a little one (like the shaker) would be better to start with.. (Plus the SS4 'missers' could get a great little knife from the BEST knife company going!)

I couldn't do much worse! He may be bad (he started well then lost the plot totally) but Gordon Brown as the next PM scares the hell out of me.. He has the charisma of a haddock, the track record of Dan Quayle and the spine of an invertibrate. God help us all!
