were you being serious vic? No, just kidding. The final version will likely be similar to the prototype shown and sell for maybe $300 or so is my best guess. ..... sadly... probably true. I doubt Jerry will change much. And I assume it will cost close to that MUCH. For, $150, with INFI, with my "improvements" and with decent colored micarta - say natural canvas or black, I would be interested. At $300 - - it will be for someone other than me. .

looks good KG, can you photoshop some res-c on it I would like to see that I will tinker with it tonight. I have to run for now. But, for the record, Scrap-Weiler concept first, then SS-3.5 or Skelly concept. This one would need to go down the line a ways. I think it will be a struggle for this to be what I would want with Res-C.... although, Mudder grips might work on this blade.... ??? . cool, thanks alot

That's a very interesting Busse Nesse, I wondered what it was going to look like.
Is That a pic from Blade forums?

you want the premium stuff, pay the premium price. i can't buy every blade either, but considering how close in price lesser knives may come, i don't think it's really that bad.
plus we have the yard. infi is a luxury, what Jerry charges is reasonable.

I like the one Dan Melone made from an Ontario skinning knife. You mean this one? [img][image][image] http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s146/DMelone73/PA020257.jpg[/img][/image] [/image] [img][image][image] http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s146/DMelone73/PA020265.jpg[/img][/image] [/image] I like this knife, but hope that Jerry smooths out the clip. Also, it would have to be thinner than the traditional Busse knife. One thing right now that I do not like is the price that it will have. Dan could make a sweet Nessie for much less!! If I had the money however, I would get this.............. If it were done properly!

You got a deal! I just wish this whole job hunting thing was over, otherwise the tag on Jerry's knife wouldn't be out of reach! But Thin, thin, thin....... That is the way to go for these knives.

plus we have the yard. infi is a luxury, what Jerry charges is reasonable. well put mag, INFi has got to be the most amazing steel, and busse knives have very good edge geometry and pretty good designs. they are pretty much IMO the best, most perfect knives youy can get, and I think the price isn't that bad. I think it would be awesome with mudder handles BTW.

[quote] The over-all blade shape is OK, but I think it is a little tall (????) I do like the shallow slow curve of the edge and consider that to be the most important part of a knife. The Full height grind on this design is good. And I know the general handle shape is good. But, needs some tweaks IMO. *** This is another knife where I wish Jerry would get the Talon Holes off an otherwise potentially good knife. The over-sized guard and over-sized choil are a detriment to these smaller to mid-sized knives IMO. Also, I would prefer a tighter radius in the grip area at the index finger. What I don't know about this knife is the blade length. This is just a quick photochop, but I think this would be an improvement: ...... Aside from that, the "Yard" Muk would be an entirely different knife with Res-C. - And I am not willing to pay $300 - $500 for it. . I'm sorry bro but I think you have ruined the effect here !
