Thanks guys guess I'll hold out for the for the regular DM at almost half the dough. Unless Dan has found some more Busse small handles, there will be no more Dumpster Mutts. More Urban Mutts, which I prefer anyway, may be made. They may cost more than the DM did because the DM handles were "scrounged" left-overs.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

that's another thing. for me to want to use a knife as exclusive and unique as the original d-mutt, it's gotta do somethin other knives don't.

The LE is by far the best Mutt with the Urban a close second.
The LE can do everything the original can but a lot more besides. I can't belive that you guys see having to carry another knife "to cut things with" as acceptable! What the heck is a knife for if not to cut stuff? The LE can do all the entry tool stuff the CG can AND has the much better satin finish and it CAN CUT STUFF! It even slices.
I have mentioned this before but the reason the satin finish is better is it is nicer looking ,better at cutting ,does not transfer flecks of black coating to food and most of all can easily be repaired after hard use. The only way to fix a CG coating is to remove it and polish it to SATIN
There is also no way that you can bend a knife as thick and short as the MuttLE much less the DMCG. Look how long the cheater bar had to be for Dan to bend the DFCG. There is no way you could get enough leverage from the short DMLE handle to bend it so the extra steel is really just wasted on the DFCG.

I am looking for a better nylon sheath for my DFCG than the stock Scrapyard one.

Tony's sheath looks like one of those top of the line Spec Ops Survival models. Too bad they only go to 8". The DF would be cool in one of those.

He mentioned that he had one for the Chopweiler. I hoped that would be long enough for the DF
