There are SO many good folders out there nowadays. Used to be, you only had the Buck 110 and boy scout/swiss army type knives. Now we can get a one hand opening locking blade knife with tools, too. For me, folders are just more practical for EDC than fixed blades, but I know they are not nearly as strong.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

seriosly, comparing scrap yard keeper with a folder I would have to say that the CS voyager or one of my many spidies is the closest because they cost signifigantly less than my benchmades and perfom just as well even better. they have a price to performance bang like scrap yard. although the keeper is tougher I used my voyager tp pry and dig through a 2 x4 and would say it does as well as the keeper. To be as light and inexpensive as they are, the CS Voyagers are amazingly tough. I have used them for years. yes, I have owned an XL model for years I just bought a large model partialy because you like it so much and it is a great knife. I own 6 benchmades but that was when they were cheaper all three of my US models are now discontinued. They make a great product, maybe if i find a good price... i was suprised to learn the rat trap was made by blade tech

Thanks. Mag22 was right, this thing is TINY compared with my Sportsman. It is just so thin it's like another key on your key chain.

and the color on it is just perfect. they're supposed to have a classic in orange alox coming out this year, so I was thinking about getting two and having them made into earrings for my girlfriend.

oh din, that's very sweet of you.
i would love an orange pioneer. the orange is hotter than the old copper. my desert m1 lightfoot has a nice copper-bronze finish on the blade.
