You know I knew that, it is a slip-joint not a lock-back but I also knew in the back of my mind somewhere that they stopped making the UK-penknife.

I think just want a waved delica 4 plainedge. and a TON of other blades but that is one at the top of my current "Lust List"

i just added most of my list to a cart at knifeworks. about $200. the don't have the wenger evo88. they do have the fenix l2d q5.

my hand's tired from sanding my ang khola. it's a sharp beast now, though.

I just like the CR123A batteries better. you can get them for as little as you can find AAs for if you know where to look, and I like that the body of the light is about an inch shorter. just makes it a little more comfortable for me to use. plus, unless I'm horribly retarded and don't remember anything correctly, the CR123As give you a longer life, both in the torch and on the shelf, and make things a little brighter.

figured it would be the battery. i actually like the longer housing but if the performance is that much better with the cr123a, they're the same price anyway

another reason i've been avoiding this light: i'm afraid it' a gateway drug. first i get the l2d q5, the the p3d, then the g2 nitrolon led, thn the cr2 ion...never ends.

mayb i can trade a knife for it. then it'll kinda still be a knife buy.

oh it's totally the pot of the light world. esp. when you start getting the cool accessories like the diffuser cap...

I started with the P3D, then got a UV LED thing for kicks and giggles, and then a P2D. different colored aluminum to match your different knives, different battery cases, different reflectors...

I didn't know they made Caly 3's in orange or CPM S30V. Sweet looking knife. I wish mine were Caly 3's. I like the tip up G10 better than the tip down nylon, and I think the clip attachment is a lot better.
