I would keep the SOCOM. If you aren't using the SOCOM, you definitely won't be using the OTF. And the OTF probably isn't legal to have off of your own property. Think about what you might actually use it for. I used my Infidel to cut a few sheets of paper and stuck it through some cardboard a few times. I almost got a Rukus instead of the Infidel and I probably should have. If you want an OTF just to have one in your collection then that is cool. But I think it is unrealistic to think you'll get any practical use out of it, and it could get you in a lot of trouble if you have it in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Well, I mostly be using it at home for whatever needs cutting. I actually don't carry my auto out in public, as it is illegal. Same for the OTF. The reason behind my idea is that I already have the big brother SOCOM to use, which is legal, and, in many ways, better. Though I appreciate the response. I'm still rather bonded to my mini as it is the coolest little knife that I have. The cutter is fairly useful in cutting the plastic on water bottle crates. It's also got special marking on it which looks like a raptor in flight, I'm not sure how I got it but I can't get it off so it's part of the coating.

I LOVE IT. i used to have a mod but i can't remember the model right now, it looked a lot like sharp's microtech. it was a nice knife, hit hard and locked up tight, but it was all kinds of illegal in dc, so i got rid of it. autos are fun, but they can get you in more trouble than they're worth, imo.

No kidding swizzle.
I rarely, if every carry the auto. I just think it's cool.
I admit that most of the dual action OTFs are cool just because they are toy like. I really want one to play with but not two use.
The one that I want to trade is a single action with liner lock. Making it more secure and I'll probably be willing to actually use the OTF. Check out the Talon by MT when you get the chance. I think it's probably one of the better OTFs by MT on par with the HALO series.

I've always wanted a Sifu I like it too Nick but it a monster of a knife. Sticks out of my back pocket. They're pretty pricey now that their out of production.

Well... my question is still hanging.
I've got several other knives that I could possible trade for.
One of which is a rare BM Emerson Non-Wave CQC-7 with 3/4 serrations. I think it's freaking awesome. Emerson toughness and BM fit and finish.
There are other's that I could get but the Talon and CQC-7 interest the me most.
Still, what do you guys think?
EMF,
If I happen to get another one I'll send it to ya for awhile (I'm serious, this is a very sweet folder and you should at least get the chance to play with it).
Unless you get one before I do get another one.

lol right now... I'll probably be able to spend about 100$ on knives... for this WHOLE year, until christmas. but I'm thinking of selling two rangers for some scrapyard/ranger/HI money. so... idk. I doubt I'll be able to drop that much for a folder. it'd be awesome if I could play with one for a while if you got another and that's a great gesture, and I'd be happy to take it up with you. thanks.

No problem EMF,
It'll take me awhile to acquire another one, but when I do I'll pm you about it.
I wish they had another full size at the Store that I wanted to trade at, I would completely trade my mini for a full size.
