Hey clintor, you out there? Why did you ditch the Sage II??? I gotta know? That is the one folder talking to me now! (if I wasn't paying off a Waki- it would have been mine the second I saw your post!!)

Clint hasn't been around much to keep him from buying too much stuff. You guys giving home the gas... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Seriously I think in did sell his sage. If not he is wanting to... Not because he doesn't like it but because he found some dirt old Gibson acoustic that he is buying.

My collection isn't nearly as deep as some of yours (man that's alot of Spyderco's, Andy!), but I haven't been collecting that long. I'm a big fan of all of these, however:

CRKT M16-13Z was my main carry for most of the last/this year. You can't really tell from the pics, but I abused the thing fairly hard and used it for a bunch of tasks a knife probably shouldn't be used for. Really light and slim, which I love, and it rides low, so people don't seem to notice when I'm carrying it.

Gerber Air Ranger Harsey. This is actually my wife's and she's had it for years, took it with her when she was backpacking in California. It's a neat little thing. I don't carry it because its hers, but I do like to mess around with it at home.

Woodsknife WK-2. I'm a big fan of puukko-style blades and this is just a really pretty, solidly (hand)made puukko folder. You can't really tell from the picture, but the blade is mirror polished. Haven't had the nerve to break it in yet, but it's fairly heavy/diesel, so I have no doubt it's up to whatever I'd put it to. The opening is a bit stiff, however, and I'm still fine tuning the pivot.

Kershaw Tyrade, tan G10. Love it. Been EDCing it for the last month. It's heavy, but I don't mind the weight, and it's solid enough I almost feel like I don't need the fixed-blade in the car. This will probably be my main EDC for a long time.

Not sure what to get next--probably a Spyderco Manix 2 or a Griptilian.

Anywho, thanks for all the knife pics gents, there's some beauties in there. That Hinderer is gorgeous.

What should such fellows as I do, crawling between earth and heaven?

Carried a Native today, a SAK Farmer and small Remington lock back today. I have rediscovered my love the Native.

I really like the Benchmades. Liner locks scare me too much.

looking forward to the new spyderco dragonfly 2, the G-10 version is pricey for it's size, so I'm hoping for some more affordable FRN version (hopefully in orange).
