Just get a Benchmade Deja-Voo. They're THE smoothest folders I have ever used.

Just get a Benchmade Deja-Voo. They're THE smoothest folders I have ever used.

Lol, dang, you have the Model 1 covered too. Actually though, the new proposed frame lock looks excellent. Especially if they keep their existing warranty and don't want an arm and leg for it.
Apparently, it is going to actually be produced. If it has a crazy 2, 3 or 400 dollar price tag I will stick to Emersons.

All the BM axis locks are super smooth in my experience.I just got a 940 s30v yesterday in a trade for an emerson horseman.Not fond of the chisel grind. I carried an axis for years before I finally went back to a fixed blade (S5LE). The mechanism was one of the best IMHO. After 7 years of daily use, it finally developed a little slop. That probably amounts to 10,000+ opening cycles. Not bad for something that got little to no regular maintenance.
