Those bugs are pretty nifty - Spyderco was giving them away at their booth at BLADE in Atlanta. I snagged one, and it remained mine for all of an hour, until my fiance snatched it up and put it on her keychain.

Wow. Would you even notice it if you cut yourself with it? It barely looks big enough to break skin. cuts from my vic classic hurt more than deep cuts that sever nerves. that said i cut myself with it at an airport, deep, right before i was to meet and shake (bloody) hands with my new boss. it was a bit of a panic to get that straightened out. thankfully his flight was a few minutes late. that little classic has also cut through heavy gauge shielded copper wire with ease. victorinox rocks.

That RC folder keeps making me think of the few people who have had Busse fixed bladed knives altered into folders. This seems like it would be a good platform for the conversions.
That being said, I like the blade shape, has a very nice grind, the simplicity of the design and the frame lock. D2 is a cut above and a pretty nice choice. I hope the price will be non-exorbitant.

I like the Rat. It'll definitely be a great user. I love my Sebenza, but I'm not sure how I feel about this: http://www.knifeart.com/insingo.htmlIt might be useful, but at $415, it's pretty pricey.

Nice to see they're planning to make the folder out of D2. Should be pretty nice with the framelock. I wonder how much it will end up selling for? The only info at this point is that they hope to release it at the end of next year. Looks nice so far.

I love the Spyderco folders. They are reasonably priced and super sharp.
I read where RAT Cutlery is going to make the IZULA Folder some time next year. It should be a great little blade.

Hey Tuck, haven't you heard, EVERYONE with a DM MUST return it to Dan because of all the flaws that extensive testing has reveiled. Oh, this ONLY applies to folks in the ARMY!!!!!
For those of you that MAY not know, Tuck is completely nuts over the DM. He seems to think that that is the only knife Dan needs to make. Poor misguided Army 2Lt that he is. BUT, he HAS latched onto a real good blade!
