Convex is really starting to win me over. I want to do a convex on a few folders as I have done it to a Buck Strider and it made it a lot better.

I almost pulled the trigger yesterday, but decided I'd rather have some custom fixed blades.

My two latest toys, both under $25 each too!

S&W Tactical Pen. It takes Fisher pressurized space pen refills, so going to throw one of those in and it'll be perfect. I've checked out some other tactical pens and this is on par or better finish and quality, at a MUCH better price.

Kershaw Chill. Very thin, light, and sleek. The flipper is extremely smooth and no blade play in the liner lock. Made in China, but extremely happy with it for being $19 shipped! Takes a sharp edge, we'll see how it holds.

Here's an update on the knife. Had Ban put a wicked sharp edge on it!

Nice Kershaw, MRpink!!!

Here's my newest one, Made in the USA by Hogue Inc. in collaboration with custom knifemaker Allen Elishewitz. I'm very impressed so far, came scary hair spliting sharp! I like the button lock concept and the backup lock for the button lock is a nice addition. This is the 3.5 inch tanto blade model. They make a nice drop point version too, I just wanted something different and something that would be a contrast to my SR-1.

I immediately removed the Spoon pocket clip and added a low ride clip, here's a pic from their website with the original clip, it's nice, I just prefer the low ride.

Spine shot showing the Button lock mechanism.

A comparison shot with a Manix 2 and my Weenie Scrapper.

And for all those, who think that Tanto's are impractical... IMO they have they're uses, I've carried a few through out the years and found them useful, besides I always have a more conventional style blade as well.

Nice Jeff,so Hogue is doing knives now.
I like a tanto blade for my work knife.
They're good for prying open paint cans & opening the boxs our electric motors & gear reducers come in.

Yea, this is Hogue's first venture into knives according to the videos I watched, they've made a really great start!

I'm glad to hear that there's someone else who see's the usefulness of the Tanto for certain applications.

Here is my newest along side my old reliable Spyderco Renegade.
This is a Lone Wolf Harsey D-2 Auto. The activation for the auto switch is hidden under the left side scale. This knife is the sharpest knife out of the box that I have ever bought. I was gonna post a link to a video that shows the auto in action, but figured it was against yard rules. Just Google it to
check it out.

This shot shows where the hidden auto button is located.
