I only have one auto, but my Blur opens just as quickly and is much more solid at lockup. I'm done with autos. They are overpriced and they don't open any faster than a lot of one hand opening knives. That Blur is faster than the Gerber 06. I gave one to my brother in law one Christmas. Should have kept it for myself.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

You SURE you want to keep that old knife in the middle, it looks almost wore out! I could take it off your hands and maybe make a passable paint scraper out of it. I'm just feeling generous this Christmas season. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> I'll probably hang onto the scrapper scraper for until the end. betweename and the jyd I got it from it's had a rough life. your welcome to show it a little love for a while though. would give me a reason to break the old muk.

That looks like a sweet knife- but has to fill a pocket, no?
I think if Esee comes out with the Izula folder, that should be a tough, hard use folder that's not too big.

Yeah, it's like carrying a 1911 full size pistol in your pocket. I can do it with my hiker pants, but I walk in cicles. It does carry well in my Max shoulder bag. For EDC, I still like the Rat Trap and the CS Voyagers.

I got myself all focused on ZT knives after too much NCIS and the Knives of NCIS threads over on BF. The 200 looks like a lot of knife for the money!

I have a 0200 in PE. It is a beast and a bit of a pocket hog but I don't mind.
I have a Spyderco Military and ZT 0350 on the way now. I've been wanting both of these for a while and finally gave up trying to resist.

For a change, I actually ordered the ZT 0200 in a combo edge. There are times when such an edge is useful. The Spyderco Military is a fine knife, and it carries well. I have two of them, one in orange. I am skipping the ZT0350. Got a HEST coming.

Ok, Vic, Rich and Steve, What would be an advantage of the ZT blades you have talked about, the 0200 and 350 and also the Hest folders over my Umnumzaan, if any. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the looks of the knives, but would I actually be bettering myself?

I gave my dad my serrated blur and found that I miss the serrated part of the blade a little bit as time passed. kershaw really chose a good pattern for their serrations and I found it very useful. the rounding makes a big difference for fine work without putting pressure or extra blade sweep against the material like a plain edge would require for similarly effective cuts. even though I'm not super big on them I plan to add another serrated kershaw folder to my lineup. the zt0200 with combo edge looks like a good pick.

But, the 200 can be had for like $100 and a smidge more...don't know what the umnumzaan runs...(what a name!) Shoot, I was counting on the izula folder and I guess that's on hold in favor of a rc3 folder instead!

Rich, right now I think that the Chris Reeve is running about $375.00 brand new.
