I like it. I carry a small .380 in my front pocket and a folder in my rear pocket.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Looks like the wait just got longer for the ESEE-3 Folder.

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=813855

Basically, Lionsteel cancelled ESEE's order. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I received a ZT 0350 today.
Not a bad knife. Probably be a good EDC.
VERY fast, smallish, overbuilt like all ZT's but I just didn't get the "awwwww" factor from it that I did my 0200.
So, out the door it goes.
I need to check out a 0300 now and see what comes of the ESEE 3F.

I don't know. The little Kel-Tec stays in my right front pocket and and my Rat Trap in the rear knife pocket on my hiking pants. Neither are heavy enough to be a bother. Maybe I should carry another pistol in my left pocket for balance.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I'm kinda glad it worked out that way myself. I think that ESEE should have tried harder to stick to their guns on the whole made in USA thing. I know there's several good USA knife manufactures here that could make it for them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I was a little disappointed when I found out that ESEE was willing to compromise... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Although I'm a really big fan of Lion Steel, I still love my SR-1! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />

But I still prefer USA made whenever possible. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Looks like it all worked out for the best anyway, I was very happy to read that Rowen will be making the ESEE folder after all!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Sounds like it was meant to be to me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Rowen will do a great job, I'm sure. I'll have one when they come around.

Although I'm sure we're in for quite a wait... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

It'll be worth it though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

If it's anything as good as their original Mod 1 folder, I'll be down for one, depending on $$$!

Of all the folders I have, Benchmade, CRKT, Rat, Opinel, Chris Reeve, Emerson, and the two Pat Crawford folders, I used to have, the most robust FEELING/APPEARING blade, it would be my Chris Reeve Umnumzaan. AND I am counting my Benchmade Butterfly knifes! Uncle Um is just a beast of a knife.
