That IS a nice looking folder Vic. I actually like the looks of the folder better than the fixed blade.

Great ergos, nice size on the both! Can't say I understand what a compression lock is...looks like a liner lock that has been relocated to me- but what do I know!? Folks rave about it though. Gotta say, Vic turned me on to the kershaws by talking about the flippers awhile back- thank Vic! The rake does open nice! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Gotta see how they carry in jeans, but I'm lovin them so far! 2 nice blades! The Rake is a blem too, so $65 for a lot of knife..composite blade, pretty great!! Bummer to hear about the RYP Folder!

Nice review HD, kind of disappointing since Lion Steel makes some really nice knives. I'm sure they rushed these to get them cranked out as fast as they can to meet the deadline. For a $175.00 blade you would think the fit and finish would be better. Glad to hear they got some of the bugs worked out that the LE models had.
