I have them on pre-order also.
Any news on the Busse folder? Jerry showed one off at Blade, but he said there's still some tweeking to do, so it could still be a while... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Probably much more than... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/2weeks.gif" alt="" />

Wow. So I'm guessing the Busse folder, when it finally comes around, will be selling for $400+.

I would find that price point unlikely unless they are doing a LE skim strategy followed by a cg to capture more market share. the ZT 0777 has 3d machined titanium and 3d machined carbon fiber scales, with a composite blade of damascus and some supersteel- basically a costly blade to produce, and a street price of just $480.

Anybody have a Lion Steel Daghetta? I was surfing around today and stumbled across one. Started snooping around and looks like a slick blade! Opinions?

That is a pretty cool blade, if you get one let us know I'm close, but trying to convince my dad to get it so I can check it out! The one with the carbon fiber/g10 combo scales looks sweet. The para 2 still your go to folder jared? That and the Ritter Griptilian get all the carry here.

After looking at and wanting to get in on some of the new ZT's I also picked up a few of the cheaper Kershaws. I saw a thread on BF about the skyline model and decided to try it. Amazingly it is the one I have actually carried in my pocket for about the last month. It is lightweight, flips open with little effort and comes shaving sharp. For $35 it is one great little folder.

I personally love my Emerson. I have the waved cqc7b, no serrations. When I first got it I babied that thing, but now I abuse it. I have even batoned some LIGHT kindling with it. At first I didn't like the chisel grind, but now I love it. I also have a cold steel Ti-lite Black zytel. I Like that a lot. It's really smooth and also opens up fast like the emerson because of the quillions. My first main folder was the cold steel Recon I spearpoint blade with partial serrations. I do not recommend getting their serrations. From that point on I just get plain blades. The serrations were so fine that they got all jacked up just from whittling. I was trying to use only the plain edge and I was younger at the time so I wasn't as careful as I should have been. Either way, I don't like serrations even though I know they have their place. I really want to get the Emerson horesman next.
