I have a question? I am looking at a knife the seller is calling a yard keeper LE. This knife looks a lot like the DMLE that I just bought. Can all you experts chime in and assist me with the difference between the two.

Thanks for the info!! So what is your opinion of the Yard Keeper LE? Looks like the choil is the biggest difference. The DMLE is satin finished as well right? I don't have it yet because I just bought it.

Yes, it is a good price if it is like new. Here are the DMLE, YKLE, and SS4.

Thanks for the side by side pictures. It really makes a difference to see them when you don't have them in front of you. I see the difference and I think I will be happy with both blades since I can see the difference.

jforbush - the YardKeeper LE for $100.00 is a GREAT price - it sold at the Blade Show for $138.20 !! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> Jump on it if you haven't already done so!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

The YKLE is very thick bladed for such a small knife. Reprofiling the edge helps it to slice better.

But the thick blade is an asset in splitting wood.

I picked up a BATAC, YKLE, and a Tops Armageddon all together. i think I got a good deal thus far. The YKLE and BATAC are new and the Tops is very lightly used(to the point you can't really tell).
