I got my DF yesterday, unfortunately the sheath didn't come as it's on backorder.... looks like it'll be riding in the quality paper/cardboard sheath for a while. Hopefully not for a long while.

Bigocean, sorry to hear you are still awaiting a mail, give Patti a shout.. I figure you bought yours same way I ordered mine ('print and call' and Paypal?) so if I've heard you should have by now. I can't believe you won't get one if you sent the payment but it wouldn't hurt to check!

'Print and call' is just part of the order process if you are overseas so can't pay using a credit card due to possible fraud and the fact we pay more shipping. It's what assigns you your order number.

Mine came today, no sheath though they are back ordered. For the few of you that did not get the sheath with your knife order, they will ship out in the next 2 Days. We did not want you to miss out on any chopping time. By the way ...Welcome to the Yard Dan Thanks Dan. My DF is due in Wednesday (private sale). I ordered a sheath from SYK.
