how do you feel about this then, on the next release if I like it, I have 10K set a side for my hobby, I'll buy them all. Are you being serious here or are you one of the first Yard trolls ? I can't knock someone for making themselves an easy buck if they are so inclined but saying you will buy them all which would leave many of us loyal dogs without even one.....I'm hoping you are just messing about eh ? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Once again, there's nothing wrong with taking advantage of a seller's business practices. If he actually does buy up all the seller's goods, the person to take your complaint to is the seller, not the buyer. I agree as I did say in my post but you don't go and rub our faces in it !!! If people start bragging about depriving others of blades here then I for one shall be leaving the forum !!! Like I said, people can do what they like but don't go rubbing it in my face and expect me to smile !!!!

I have more than one hand. YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I try to explain this to everybody at work and they never really get it. 1 for my right, 1 for my left, and a cheap loner for the sillies that don't bring their own.

I've had the same thought - no reason to limit sales to anything less than 10 - we have some outstanding forum members (one of whom I really hope comes back to the forum more often, as it just hasn't been the same w/out his frequent presence - *Jump*) who buy several of each for gifts and what not.
I don't know what the case was w/ the DF's the other day, but historically, Dogs who are on time will generally score, with exception of small runs (such as the recent overrun release of DF's). Until the time comes that one business minded individual takes all of the stock in one fell swoop, I don't think we need to worry too much.
My only "double" is the original Mutt - a user and a keeper. I'd get doubles of everything if I could afford to, and if money wasn't an issue, I'd get several of each - user, keeper, and some to hang on to for my boys when they get older.

I don't know if there is a magic number either. I would hope that Dan would deal with individuals on a case-by-case basis, in the event that a single order were to wipe out the majority of what is in stock during a buying frenzy.

I understand where you're coming from, pitman. If the idea of someone actually coming in and sweeping up all of Dan's next release really bothers you, perhaps you should take it up with Dan right away. As fast as the DFs sold out, it could already have happened. Actually, my hat's off to fastcamo for having the guts to say he could and might just buy up all of Dan's next release. This is a friendly forum and that's why I joined, we don't need jerks to come and spoil it !!!
