What if? If what if happens...send it back and get a new one. This shouldn't be a concern to anyone.

You should be happy if you find out you have a defective one while in your yard with a camera rather than out in the field, combat zone, 2 week hike by your onesy!

I don't want to hear any crap about how this "could" happen while you are in a survival situation because you should have already tested your equipment!

An officer doesn't carry a pistol he hasn't already shot/disassembled/cleaned and field tested. A soldier doesn't go into combat without knowing the inner workings of his rifle...he knows exactly how to use "Kentucky Windage" because he has USED that rifle extensively!

I would consider this a good thing...a lesson to anyone living in a shell. TEST and KNOW your equipment before putting yourself in a situation where you NEED IT!

Northern I,

Man, that seriously sucks.

If it makes you feel any better, I dinged my Sage FFFBM a while ago. The ding was exactly what you got...well...'cept I accidentally...uhh...some how hit it on a rock and the the very tip has small ding. Also, ear the upward curve, you can see, under the light, that it has a rough edge for about 1/2 inch.

It wasn't as bad as M22's.

Sorry to here that..Send it back Dan will send you a new one thats the good thing about the Scrap Yard.

While it may suck at least it didn't happen in the field. No one makes a perfect product no one but Busse group knives are about as close to perfect as is available to us at this time.

JYD#14 Do you need one, of course you do it's a knife and you like knives.....

i personally dont "NEED" a dfle,i "WANT" one and it sucks when it breaks and just because i wasnt in a combat zone when it happened doesnt mean i'm happy about it
......and magnum is right that this has been happening to much, regardless of warranty.call me a whine [censored] but i dont feel like taking the time and money to ship it back.this is my third blade i have had to ship back in the last six months and two of them where busse kin of S7.

how long ago where the CA's made???thats at least how long this faulty S7 has been in use and then the kept using it weather knowingly or not to make DFLE's.i wonder if the CGDF's that you guys are getting in the mail right now are from the same batch or have the same problem.mistakes happen and i really dont know who to point the finger at but its evident that someone somewhere is asleep at the wheel.

you wanna talk about testing your gear in the front yard with a camera, well you can bet thats what i'm gonna do with anything i own made of S7.
