Great pics mate! Makes 'The Lakes' look a bit second rate! The Lakes will never be second rate they still rate as some of the nicest places I have been and hope to one day re-visit ! The only thing about where I am know is that these places are a lot easier for me to visit, it took me 15 mins to get to the parking lot for the walk above , it used to take me around 4 hrs to get to the lakes if I remember correctly !!!

How long has Blackjack been making knives again? I thought they'd been shut down for years. I have a BlueDevil which is kind of useless but I like it anyway. I'll have to poke around and check out some of their new stuff.

I notice that pitman has one of the older AUS-8 (USA) Grunts. Current production is made of 10CR17 (Chinese) with Kraton handles and a nylon sheath; I've seen them online for as little as $19.99. I found this discussion about them on BladeForums: 10Cr17 Steel
