here's the down low!!!!

for those familiar with knifeforums.com.....................
every time i send this guy a message he deletes it.when that happens you get a message saying,"this member is no longer active in this forum".that says it all to me.

i went back and checked all his previous threads.he puts a knife up for sale, then he uses one of the many names or aliases he has created on the forum and buys the knife off of himself under another name.how do i know this???...................
because every time someone responds to his "for sale" threads they only have one or two total posts, meaning they as a name have just been created.their are numerous examples and every time someone buys one of his knives they only have like one post total to their name.one plus one equals two no matter where you go.
he posts a bunch of phony sales so that people get used to seeing his name and assume he is one of the regulars.this may seem like a conspiracy theory but i can pretty much prove it if need be.

something to keep in mind.this guy only deals in busse kin knives.....except for the VTACs.so far he has posted a FFBM,chopweiler and crash axe.

if he wanted to rip me off,why send me anything at all???why give me a VTAC for my money???

to protect himself, thats why.i sent him money and he sent me a product.he can say it was a mistake.if he took my money and sent me nothing than i could say he robbed me.think about it,he buys a VTAC for $130 and ends up getting $225 for it.he just got a free $100 and really cant get in any trouble for it.

this guy is all over knifeforums.com using many different names.he is also trying to trade knives.you make a deal on a trade with him.you send him yours,he sends you his, except he gets yours and you never get his.he sells yours and just made an easy dollar.

i wouldnt post all this if i couldnt prove it.i just dont want this to happen to any of you guys since this guy only deals in busse kin and the reason for that is because he knows how fast this stuff will sell.what sells better than a busse??
i'm sure i'm not the only one here that frequents that forum so be careful of anyone with a low number of posts with their name, anyone wanting to make a trade or that deal that just seems a "bit" to good to be true.this guy is good and has taken a lot of time and effort just to get a couple hundred dollars.

he even went ahead and purchased a knife off of me in another thread to make himself look like a buyer to gain more trust as crazy as it all sounds.problem is is that i never got the MO because he never sent it.i had a guy leaving to go serve our country that wanted that knife but i couldnt give it to him because this scum bag beat him to it by a few minuets, all the while never intending to really buy it.

first he said he wanted to buy my DMLE for $165 and we did the deal.the next day i see a CA for sale that i want and i see that its from the same person, cool.i tell him i'll take his CA for $225.instead of sending each other MO's he thought it would be easier if i just sent him the DMLE with a MO for the difference of $60......how convenient....nice try.

i said "how about we each send out MO's and when we each get them we'll each send out the goods.

all-in-all i'm lucky i got anything from this scam artist.this whole post has been so long its been a pain in my @$$ but again, since this guy deals in busse content i just feel the need to say something, and i need to vent and you guys are my friends.even through all this bs i still cant bring myself to throw his name out their like that.if anyone has or does have any problems similar to mine and have any questions,PM me and i'll be happy to let you know.i guess this is probably the biggest negative about having to buy busse's on the secondary market as rare of an issue as it is.i guess it was only a matter of time.

BUYER BE WARE.

I'd contact your state attorney general. I've had great success several times in the past doing that. I'd contact the police too. That sounds like fraud if he doesn't make it right.

I contacted Inkster (Chris) http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/showuser.php?uid/11171/
Who is the Mod for the "knives for sale" section.
Maybe he can do something?

Wow, I'm really sorry you had to go through all of that.

You know...

If you sent money to him doesn't that mean you have all of his info. His address is right on your money that's gonna be sent to him. I know it might not do anything, but it be nice to confront this scammer in person and show him a piece of your mind. I sure would.

It depends on how you send the cash. My personal fave way to send cash is EMT but then you don't even have a name just a Email address. I only deal with people I know from the forum or who have a good rep. Generally if you take the time to check someone out and they have a bad trader rating or very few posts that is a red flag. Take the same kind of time to check on someone's rep on the net as you would before doing business with them in real life.

at the risk of sounding corny,i go big or not at all so if i confronted this fleeb in person i would be arrested.

in the grand scheme of things this is a very petty crime.my experience in the past with law enforcement involving petty incidents has been lack luster.i have pointed officers to the person that vandalized my car and the person who witnessed it and was willing to state the fact to no avail, add to the fact that it is 4 states away and you get my drift.i'm not criticizing them either.i'd rather they bother with petifiles and the rejects that shoot each over dirty looks and $10 debts.

i have thought of sending him a letter with some.....all....of my thoughts on him and people of the like, assuming that it is even a real address.he is a scam artist remember.

karma is a beast and someday, somewhere he will mess with the wrong person,at the wrong time,in the wrong way nobody will be able to help him.

at least i got a VTAC for crying out loud.texas tony got completely robbed.you dont live anywhere near ILL. do you texas tony???

if i had to guess i'd say you live somewhere around.........TEXAS???

yeah, its the low post thing that i feel so stupid for not thinking about.

the thing is is that this guy will just create a new name and do it again.

if you et banned can you get back on with another IP address because you get a new IP everytime your power goes out i've been told.

i ask because since this guy deals in busse kin i wonder if he could be reading all this right now if theirs a way to get around a ban
