I am FAR too busy to have to be checking a web site on "hope" of ordering a knife. 1:09 am eastern I'm checking. Hey were all busy! I guess its priorities.On last Dogfather release I missed out. But, on DMDC release I scored five!!It sure felt good to not buy on the secondary market. To each his own.

I felt stupid at my first arrival to the main site. It would probably make it easier for idiots [like me] to put a blurb on the "place order" page to the effect of "If there are no knives listed, check the forums".
On another note, I feel positive that a batch of DF's will be released as soon as I climb in the humvee for the trip to virginia for the two-week field op coming up. Gah.

Another release of DF's isn't very likely at this point, gabe. If you're concerned about it, however, you can always make arrangements with one of the Dogs to have them pick one up for you should they suddenly make an appearance. You're active military, so I have no doubt that you'd get all the support you need. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> No more Dfs....dammit. Guess it's time for the secondary market. That arrangement sounds like a good idea just in case, as it will be a minute before I decide to track down a DF otherwise.

I don't see how you can't check a forum once every two maybe three days to look for a 48 hour notice then you know whewn to check for the 24 hour notice which tells you pretty much exactly when the knives will be up for sale... i never really did see the problem.
its a shame though, he doesn't want to wait, so he's never going to be able to get knives of this quality. (well there are a few companies.)
oh well.
