I usually don't like to bring these sorts of things to the forums, but I'm kinda at a loss for what to do, and you all know the company better than I do. 
 So here's the deal. I ordered a DMDC, the order went through, got the confirmation  email with an invoice. the 94 dollars was listed in my credit card account as "pending", and I assumed that everything was fine. However, about a week or so later, I checked back with my account and found that the pending charge had been removed (as if it had never been there), and the money had been refunded back to my account. Not only was there no mention of the charging being canceled there, I never got any kind of warning about this from the company. After three days, my emails to two different addresses listed on the email and on the website have gone unanswered. Now, I love the community here and I think that this is a great company. I know someone will take care of me. I just wanted your advice and to see if anyone had any similar experiences
 
 I really have my heart set on getting my first dog, so thanks for your help.

Would also depend on which batch your order is from.
 The store automatically puts the hold on your account, however they don't bill until they have the item to ship.  Dan had mentioned that the second batch of blades was over a month away, so they wouldn't charge you until that point.
 
 You will hear back from them!

Yeah, I figured it was connected to the move. It's really just Scrap Yard's bad luck that this is something like the the 3rd problem I've had in a row ordering knives online. If I came across as rude, a apologize, I was just frustrated and worried about my baby, the DMDC

it will only depend on if you were in the last 114 in the first batch, & you needed to re-order in the second release, and you didn't, you may not receive.  sorry to hear if that's the case.if not, hold tight till they settle, they will take care of you!

Actually, just to make sure there is no confusion.  EVERYONE who ordered the first time around will get their blades.  They were oversold by about 114 blades, however Dan stated they would be honoring the promo price.  The only issue is that they will ship with the second batch a month or so down the road.  There was no need to reorder as that would just add more blades to your order. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I have no doubt in the yard, thanks for your help. Knowing that if I have the invoice, I'm in, is conforting.

I'm a first-time SYK customer with the DMDC offering and had no knowledge the company was in a move. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I have no doubt my order will be eventually processed but a little disclaimer that orders would/might be held up by a move would've been appropriate on the homepage or order page. I, too, am awaiting a response from my email sent Friday. We'll see what happens.

sounds like you are in the second batch and they do not bill until shipped so that would be why the transaction was reversed. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I don't think you came across rude at all. |  |  |
