Well, stopped by the video store today and bought the last 3 copies of "The Omega Man " rainwalker gets one.....rooikat gets another(if wanted) and I'm not sure what to do with the other copy?
When you care enough to use only the best...stick'em with a SKYCO knife.

Watched "I Am Legend" last night and it is good.
Watched "No Country for Old Men" last weekend it was fantastic!
"3:10 to Yuma" I can also recommend.
If you like sci-fi, check out "Dark City", "Serenity", and "Equilibrium".

one neat thing about No COuntry For Old Men was that throughout the entire film, there is not ONE single piece of any type of music. Watch it again and look for that... First movie I have ever seen like that... This film was just fantastic.

The second version in this set has a different ending. I know of some other stuff, but I don't want to be spoiler man.
I DO know that the actual director's cut was an hour longer than the theatrical release. It also had more scenes that were directly copied form The Omega Man, such as the Mustang being driven thru the showroom window. Hopefully, they will release that one eventually.
Preporduction on I AM LEGEND II has begun. At this point, Will is not attached to the project. Since he be dead, I guess it would be a prequel. That would rock. The second DVD is an almost completely different movie. I was shocked.
Cannot talk about it, cause I do not want to spoil the extra bits for those of you who have not seen the 2nd version yet.
I am about to watch it for the 2nd time today, followed by Omega Man.
The second version of the film reinforced my belief that this is THE movie that Omega Man fans have been waiting for, for the past two decades.
While the Ridley Scott directed version starring Arnold would have been sweet, these guys did an incredible job. Got chills watching the 2nd disk, just like I did in the theater with the original.

well this thread inspired me to go to wal mart.... i bought no country for old men... im going to be watching again tonite. hadnt seen it since i saw it in theatres. such a classic film.

I got this... Man…I use my laptop. Only because my TV screen at college is smaller. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> At least I output the audio to the A/V jack on my couple hundred watt stereo so I have good sound. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Gahhh!!! Equilibrium... sweetest movie ever. I loved that movie too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

A Matrix rip off that was quite a bit better than the Matrix.
I usually just watch movies on my 19 inch Samsung moniter but once in a while I pull out the projector. I should have for Pirates 3 because that show needs a big screen.
The JLA movie "new frontier" was really good.
Sharp that is a fantastic set up.
