you just take the picture nick... but when I was holding the fuzz stick sideways it wasn't enough for the camera to pick up, so thats why the last pic (from a different angle) is so clear.

noss- yeah that rao could stand up to just about anything.

if this folder could do it, I think most can.
the linerlock failed a few times, but actually if you use the right technique, I don't think its all that hard on the knife... I actually batoned on the back of the blade, not the tip.
that helped alot.

vic- wow, I guess you do learn something everyday.
I really hate splitting with an axe, it seems more dangerous and takes more skill.

EMF, Great pix of abuse to that Blur by Kershaw Knives.

Do me a favor try that spell check before you post. That spelling of yours is driving me nuts!
www.iespell.com
Installs in a moment and is a 1.2 MB program, very tiny. It collapses under the "Tools" drop down menu on the explorer task bar. Very useful, and kind to others! I spell horribly too so I always use mine! Otherwise people would know how illerate I really am!

Well done!

Peace.

that was a lot of batoning for such a small folder. I am impressed, thanks for sharing.

sorry P.o.P
It's hard to find the mistakes with all the image codes in there.
I'll see if I can donwload that some time.
thanks.

my kershaw vapor (an 18$ knife) also batons hardwood like a champ!
the lock never failed (frame locks, you gotta love 'em!) and the edge is fine.
there is alot of blade play now, but nothing an allen key can't solve.

EMF, these knives handle it so well although it is "abuse" i don't see at as really abusing the knife if that is what you want it for. it is easier to carry a folding knife and these folders handled some hard work

yeah, at the time I batoned with my vapor, it was all I had, and me and my cousin needed kindling size logs for the fire and we had were logs.
