bld - actually, for me, the DMDC feels better in my hands as i have small hands... it just feels great.. not that the S6 doesnt, i just like the compact nature of the DMDC however i like the tan coating on my S6 better. now if i could just get a SS4 made of INFI i would be set... but my Busse Scotch Dispenser is my favorite still...

The handle on the DMDC is very comfortable for me as well, Recon. But the S6 is one of the most neutral feeling blades I've ever held. It's still my favorite Scrap Yard knife.

My favorite SY piece too. But i still like my Busse SD's better

Dan actually took a lot more time on the DC finish than it would have taken to coat the blades. If you really want it coated, you could coat it yourself in any color you want. You can use any of the gun coatings that don't have to be baked. Some of them might be ok too but I really doubt it because of the Res-C. I would definitely consult Dan before adding any of the heated coatings, but DuraCoat is applied at room temperature with an air brush. I'm sure you could find somebody that duracoats guns that would probably do a piece that small for $30 at the very most, probably less if he was already doing another piece in the same color/pattern.
