Pics to follow soon, wanted to get action shots, as everyone knows what these look like I have a Spec Ops combat master for the DMDC, and the Kydex from SY for the S6. When I negotiate funding with my significant other, I will be getting better pants from Rainwalker.

Oooohh.... Kydex from RW. You gonna get a piggy (S6 + DMDC) or a drop leg (DMDC only)?

Piggy!!! Piggy!!! Piggy!!! Chant with me!!! Piggy!!!

Why in the world wouldn't you?

I'd piggy back a CGFBM with a FFBM. Or FFBM with FFBM.

Think Chinese Butterfly Swords.

But, no, seriously I go with the motto "it's better to have something and not need than it is to need it and not have it."

The actual reason is that it's basically carrying a medium sized fix blade with a small fix blade. I'd rather do this than carry a large FFBM and a smaller knife ( I know it goes completely against what I said in the beginning). The S6 and DMDC would be far lighter than a FBM and some other knife. The S6 works just as fine as any other knife for wood gathering and "large knife tasks". The DMDC would just function as a heavy duty little knife. Also in most cases, I doubt anyone would be carrying a massive fix blade. It's also slightly more realistic to do this, IMHO.

No piggy, the DMDC is on the other leg attached to a drop leg holster. However the other side will be a drop rig with some attachments....Ill leave that up to RW. Right now the S6 is in a combat master and I've rigged it with a leg strap and a small Maxpedition pouch to it. Kind of a "rolling gear only" rig. It aint pretty but it feels good, and does the job so far.

My decision to never buy crap has paid off.

That's a great photo Heavy. My cat Timmae! looks just like that...a "I'm not fat I'm big boned" British shorthair. The black paws/pads are really distinctive.
