Here's a pic I posted a while back of my EDC items. Some things swap out, but most of it I always carry.

Yep. Good for chapped lips, rust protector for knives, and as a fire starter.

I really like the burts bees wax, great stuff!! I didn't know you could use it as a fire starter...I guess that makes it even better.

Andy you must have some kind of super belt or something to keep all that stuff from dragging your pants to your ankles.

Suspenders and cargo pants

Seriously do you really carry all that in your pockets or do you have a bag?

Good thing that Andy is big, young, and strong! He IS just about ready for anything.

Clark - I recently acquired a Scotch Dispenser, and I am more impressed with it than I thought I would be! Very easy to conceal that sharp piece of Infi.

As far as an urban rig - I RARELY travel to a town of more than 5,000 people - my town has 259 - so my .40 S&W, CS X2 Voyager, small Schrade and small Case are always with me, along with a micro-light, cigar lighter, and a Yard knife of my daily choice. If I take the dogs for a walk in the fields I usually carry a DogFather, occasionally a YardGuard. I absolutely LOVE living in the country !!! Tom

emf - perhaps YOU don't realize that I have not always lived here! Most of my life has been spent in a few of Chicago's suburbs and a few years in Minnesota. I have only been here the last 16 years, and hope to spend the rest of a LONG life here! Now, if I was only 40 years younger.........

I did know that actually.
I think you told me once before.
you certainly have to work your way up I guess.

one day maybe I'll have a nice property like yours.

it just takes some creativity.

Yep, the whole “wax” thing. And if you don’t have a fine cotton substance to put with it, you can scrape your clothes with your knife to get some fuzz. Or check your pockets for lint.

I wish. I need a heavy thick gun belt or something. My belts are always stretched out of shape.

Yep, that’s all in my pockets. And I usually wear jeans, so no cargo pockets or anything. I can’t ever wear sweatpants carrying all that stuff. I’ve tried to trim it down, but I really need all that stuff and use it a lot. I have a couple small bags with shoulder straps, but none of them are very comfortable and flop around and pull the weight to one side. I’ve seen some of those shoulder strap Maxpedition bags that look nice, especially the ones that have a hidden gun compartment and carry a Nalgene bottle, since I carry a Nalgene with me everywhere too. Those bags are too expensive for me right now though.
