Hurray. Today i got my first Scrap Yard ( DMDC) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> , fit and finish is good. I like shape of blade a lot, it's going to be user( like my other to Swamp Rats).

DMCG, hands down. i like the thickness and brute toughness of the DMCG. for a soldier, its the best.

Wow- yanked this thread up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />.Actually-I just bought the original DMCG that is a fatty with the Busse scales as this one feels much better to me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. I am going to have it stripped and convex when I have time and this will make a very nice user. I have another newer mutt that is in tank color- but is thinner and doesn't have the Busse scales. Like the " Fatty" much better. As for the RMD- my search goes on as it is on my " want/ find/ buy list". The only one I own is the Double Cut... but of all my fixed blades that's the one I carry the most.
I've split a lot of wood and made many fires with that boy!
