If you don't have a RMD you really should pick one up. It is my favorite 5" knife and if I didn't already have a black/black G10 I would be buying one right now instead of posting this.

but seriously, I can't recommend the RMD enough, it is simply a fabulous knife and easily my favorite blade I own

that said, I support you EMF! a nice 7" blade is great to have around, they make superb multi-taskers. Lets you and me hold out for the Scrapper 7's <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

for all the talk about the S7's, you'd think the hook and guard would be a lot more popular. I've been playing with my battlerat, chopweiler, and yardguard trying to decide if I really need a camp tramp.
