Also, there is no need in dragging the point all the way across the belt. Follow through is important in golf, but don't do it on the belt sander. When the very tip reaches the outside edge of the belt, withdraw the blade from contact. I hope this helps. I still mess up points now and then. Thats why so many of my knives have "penetrator tips".

The YKLE is over 1/4" thick. The CG model is 3/16" thick, which is still pretty thick for a 4" blade.

looks like a slicer. nice work as usual. The edge is my favorit part. I wish my blades were that sharp.
