They went up,I got in,- paid, then checked back and they had sold out in less than a minute, BUT, Jerry just posted that more inventory is being loaded as we type so keep checking Dogs! And BTW, there is a cart limit on these.

I got in within a minute of opening and the satin w/ black were gone. The others were gone shortly after. Just for fun, I kept refreshing and within 2-3 minutes the 'out of stock' was replaced by 'low stock' on the satin w/ black. I then placed a successful order. I guess some people had them in their carts and released them.

A little after I posted, I was able to grab a black G-10 and a red/black G-10. I'd have preferred to have gone with micarta rather than G-10 due to the price difference, but I've been F5ing ever since and had no luck, so I checked out. They're pretty, but also pretty pricey -- I only paid $187.00 each for my CG muddy ADs. Still, I've passed on the Cultellus because I didn't care for the style; I like the BADs -- it's only money, right?

so you guys are saying that once its in your cart, its temporarily on hold for you, maybe long enough to add other things to your cart at a more leisurely pace? I figured you had to complete the order first to get in soon enough. That is nice to know.

BCS is back to the:
"Sorry, the store is temporarily closed for maintenance, check back soon." message

From posts I saw on BladeForums, it looks like the BCS did restock and BADs lasted for about 7 minutes this time. I suspect a lot of folks were still asleep, at church, or weren't looking because it was an unannounced release. Seven minutes under those conditions probably indicates less volume than one minute last night. I got my order in last night, so I'm not saying that it's surprising that there's some interest in a thin Busse Combat EDC, but considering that I typically think of BC blades as being thick, nearly indestructible tools, I'm surprised at how much demand there was for these thinner, fairly expensive blades. In G-10, they cost nearly as much as the ETS SJTACs did.

BCS is up, but either they didn't go up, or they sold out immediately.

Active Duty - Boney 1/8th inch thick, satin with black canvas micarta.
$227.00 No Stock

$262.00 No Stock

Personally, those are just too pricey for what you get. But for Busse collectors, that is probably in line. I tend to go for the Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard knives more. And NONE of those ADs appeals to me as much as my SS4. My favorite swamp KING, the DFLE was less than those ADs. As fast as they go, they are worth the asking price to many, though.

Do you think a stainless 1/8 SS4 might be in our future????

I don't know if we'll see anymore with mudder handles. I like them, though. A stainless SS4 would be a very useful knife. The mudder handle fits my hand well.

I didn't think the standard AD needed a diet, it was nice the way it was. I wanted to pick up a AD or GW, but the new AD are to skinny and the .270 GW are to fat. Go figure. The red/black g10 did look pretty good though.

is there any particular reason they wouldn't use any more mudder handles? They can't be that much harder to make if any than the regular Res-c handles. As popular as they are, I don't see why they wouldn't make more.

I already have a "fat" ash1, and I would have liked the skinny, too, but they were available for too short time, at 04:00 A.m. here....
