My EOD bag may get here today but most likely tomorrow.
I'm going to transfer over some stuff and then I will post my new PSK/BOB.

Thanks Mac. You just cost me about $100. I ordered the BOB, and several other items that "I needed". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> It is a good thing the large grappeling hook was not in stock. I "need" one of those too.

Me, too!
'Cept I managed to stay under $75....just barely.
A lot of great "small" items on their site.

The over the shoulder style bags are really best suited as a GHB, Get Home Bag. It's a bag that's designed to get you through the first 24 hours. My man purse, aka 'Murse' is a Maxpedition Jumbo Versapack. I've had it for a couple of years now. It's set up as a GHB right now and it's got a bit of extra room for stuff. Anyway right now it has the following in it.

A full MRE
A couple of power Bars
A couple packs of snacks
32 ounce Nalgene bottle
Stainless Steel bottle cup
Titanium Spork
Maps of Florida and Jacksonville
Can of Mace
Multitool
Pocket knife
Bic Lighter
First Aid Kit
Ben's Max 100% Deet
Surefire SC1 Spares Carrier
Surefire E1L light
Whistle
Earplugs
Cell phone
PDA
Green Shemagh
Buzz Off bandanna
Water Proof notepad
4 Sigsauer 229 9mm magazines

I'm looking at some of those bags on county comm. My wife just got her CCW and went with a .357 magnum revolver. So I'm looking at getting her one of those bags in case of car troubles.

I strip them down as well. However, I still fit the snack and desert inside as well. I forgot to add a roll of backpackers toilet papet. It has saved my butt more than once.

Bestglide sells great stuff and is a great company, me and the owner exchange emails often.
I send him reviews of his products and give my input on survival kits.

jack bauer uses an over the shoulder bag, myself, i think a back pack does make sense, but with an OTS bag I think would work as well base don personal prefernceand of course depending on the situation as well. I just ordered the bug out bag from county comm, not so much for a BOB but for a manpurse type deal. To carry all my gadgets and such back and forth from home to work.
