The movie was very good. Classic Romero, much like the original low-budget NOTLD.
It dealt with a bunch of college students dealing with the zombie outbreak, when on campus far from home. It dealt with what I would consider 'normal' things like getting food, gas, and deciding who's family to check on first, as opposed to fighting marauding biker gangs.
I watched it at midnight, with all the lights off, and the windows open. The atmosphere helped.
I recommend it to one and all. It DID have an Amish dude in it; he rocked.
It's amazing what the Amish, much like a ninja, can do with farming implements.

The only problem I had with it was it was WAY too rushed, like the world ended in a period of hours,and it was weird that they only ran into about 20 people. I would really love to see a version where like in the beginning of Dawn of the dead (1978!!) where you see society collapse from the inside. Thats scary.

I 'read' it as taking longer; we just saw the parts he taped.
They also mentioned taking only backroads, to avoid others. Here where I live, I can drive the 10 miles or so to work at off hours, and encounter next to nobody.
