samhain, good to see you over here on the scrap side. Silverbullets and I are planning a local Ranger/Scrapyard campout, since I can't make the Ranger one.

I was finally able to rent Diary of the Dead. I'm about to watch it in right now...

As I watched the film, I remembered back in the day, when some buddies of mine had Mosant Nagents in locked footlockers secreted in their house on campus. Now, that would have helped in this situation.

Awesome movie. I really liked it. I was weary of the camera POV, but it did a much better job then cloverfield & blair witch. I can't wait for the rest of the series. Amish dude was classic, hahah.

roo, I really recommend reading "The Walking Dead". It's a very good story and well balanced. It's not all about gore, it's how they survive and deal with the situation. No superman zombies, no dog zombies, just the classic zombie. The black and white add a nice touch, read my earlier post if you want to check it out.

I am going to look into it....
and , I did!
Walking Dead #1 is on to roo bedside table. Sometimes, Mr. Borders comes through for me.

Mr. Pink,
I have one to recommend for you, but you better be sitting down...
Have you seen "Marvel zombie Universe VS Army of Darkness?
It is a graphic novel classic. All the Marvel comic superheroes die and become zombies. The only thing opposing them is, that's right, Ash from the Evil Dead/ Army of Darkness movies.
A good time is had by all!

I've heard of the original Marvel Zombies (which was written by Kirkman, so I'm sure you'll enjoy The Walking Dead), but not VS. Army of Darkness. That sounds almost too crazy, but I like it. I'm almost caught up with The Walking Dead, so I'll have to definitely check them out. I've got some big coupons from Borders I plan to use. Thanks for the recommendation.

Let me know how you like "The Walking Dead". I just finished reading "The Zombie Survival Guide", which was a fun read. I'll probably read "War World Z" after I read all the Marvel Zombie series. And if you haven't read "I am Legend", I recommend that too, very different from the movie (better).

MrPink,
I have I AM LEGEND in 2 different hardcovers, 2 trade paperbacks, 1 paperback, graphic novel, and comic book edition.

Now that it is on my mind, I am going to go watch the new I AM LEGEND, again.

That's a lot of the same book. Don't spoil it for me, but how was the alternative DVD ending?

Today my friends and I watched Zombie Stripper. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0960890/ It was part zombie/part adult movie. What a piece of crap.

That sounds like a winner.

The alternate ending for I AM LEGEND was pretty good. There are also additional scenes, which change the movie a little. It made my day, as it really is two different movies.

Oh, and for books...
Like Gold and ammo, there can never be too many copies of I AM LEGEND on your bookstand.

My stupid friend borrowed Diary of the Dead, and has not returned it, yet. I wanna watch the commentary.
