Good eyes there, Sharp.
It's a Puffin Wave, the CQC version of the Puffin.

Yea, I just call the model I like the Puffin.

The Puffin Magnum looks to much like another custom knife. I don't really like the Magnum model compared to the wave. So Puffin Wave = Puffin and Puffin Magnum = (non existent) .

Sharp,
I agree. The Wave is much the better of the two models. Usually, when I tell people which one I got, I have to specify for that reason.

We just call it the Puffin, as well. Now, if I can only get a pet Puffin, on whose back I could mount a special sheath to carry my new Puffin, and that would come when I called him...
Then I would be all set.

macgregor,
It's a good combo for me, too. It is very well balanced for such a stout knife.
The Puffin and the chopweiler are a good duo. Each one has it's own strengths.
Plus, they both look cool.

Say, is that a ridgeback in your avatar?

Yepers, that is a ridgeback.

When we got our dogs, our choices were a three way tie between the ridgeback, the American Staffordshire terrier, and the Shelties.
When the dust settled, the shelties won the day.

Ted,
Cool puffin pictures, thanks! They look like they are smiling.

Also, thank you for unretarding my pictures. When I took those, Nikki had set the camera to take the biggest, highest quality picture possible.

Hey that sheath looks familiar, Roo.

Looks like it's working out well.
