The problem isn't that Vic's 154CM knife failed, emf. The problem is that Vic's BUSSE knife failed. And it failed on the first try. Did Vic push his Busse knife beyond its design limit? Perhaps. But Busse knives are routinely pushed beyond their design limits and live to tell the tale.
That is the bottom line. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
I am counting on my Scrap Yard Mud Puppy to be able to dance on other factory blades of CPM154 that I own. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/footinmouth.gif" alt="" />
These ARE Busse knives and should spank any like competitor. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />
Vic I am truly sorry for that tip snip but I wouldn't let that stop you from tip testing The Yards version in MPLE style.
Not sure if I'd try it on the Bird Dog though! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
Thanks Vic for taking the bullet on this test,it shed light on the product from Swamp Rat Knife Company. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />
Let's hope this was a isolated case. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />
Peace.
