I donīt like the CBT at all. It looks cool, oh yeah! But it didnīt feel good when chopping. So I grinded (?) the whole blade, not much left of the CBT on my FBM. That and a thinner edge felt realy nice when chopping

Pic on the FBM. Not much CBT. Done some grinding on the handle too.

Well last night I did do some more of the same stuff.

I honestly have no idea why the FBM is so good at cutting wood. Using the choil with one hand I could easily get both thick or thin slices very easily. Though, I used two hands most of the time.

Ok, here we go again.

I made some more thin shavings.

Here's a close up.

Now, let's see how this thing burns.

Hmm... quite well, all the shavings were engulfed in the flames. Good thing two cause it was freezing outside.

Next I decided to go with the normal method of using just shavings by itself and not on the branch.

BURN!!! BABY BURN!!!!

Well, I must say, the FBM as a do-it-all knife is quite the performer. It can chop, slice, pry, destroy, strike flint, etc, etc, all pretty darn well. Just wish it wasn't so darn heavy.

I would have been nice to have gotten one of the 2008 DC Version with a .25 thick inch blade and no CBT. Though, the Busse table at Blade West didn't even have any FBMs, they were all gone by the time Cloak and I got there .

This sort of pertains to the title as it was done last night. Though, I decided to make the fire a little bit bigger.

Here it is starting out.

I don't know 'bout you guys but I just think there's something cool about a fire. Take a look at this shot.

Decent day.

I think the clouds are telling me to go that way
